very pregnant and frustrated

So this is my first blog. I decided to start blogging just to share my experiences with other people, and also read about other peoples experiences. I am currently 40 weeks and 4 days pregnant with my first child. Her name is Nora Joy! My husband and I couldn't be more excited! I was told by my doctor that I would be induced at 41 weeks if I still hadn't had her, and on October 2nd (this friday) I will be 41 weeks. Just imagine how anxious I am, and then today, I called my doctor to know the exact time of my appointment and she informed me that she didn't get me an appointment for friday, and failed to let me know this until I called her myself. She said I have to wait for October 4th because they had no appointments open.... really?? They can't seem to simply do what they told me they were going to do in the first place? I mean yes, it is only 2 days later, but when it has been 9 months and 1 week, 2 days seems like a lifetime. I am just very frustrated now. And the thing is everyday counts when your husband is in the military. Errg.. very upsetting. Well I guess I am going to go get my creative juices flowing and make my husband a hemp necklace, I hope he likes it!
